Culturally Diverse Communities IDVA
Our Culturally Diverse Communities IDVA provides specialist support for people from culturally diverse backgrounds who may face additional barriers when experiencing domestic abuse. This can include language barriers, immigration concerns, cultural expectations, fear of community judgement, or uncertainty around accessing support services. They provide culturally aware, inclusive and trauma-informed support to help people feel heard, safe and empowered.
LGBTQ+ IDVA
Our LGBTQ+ IDVA provides specialist support for people within the LGBTQ+ community who are experiencing domestic abuse. They understand the unique challenges LGBTQ+ survivors may face, including fear of discrimination, being “outed”, or not feeling understood when seeking support. They provide inclusive, non-judgemental support tailored to individual experiences and needs.
Older Persons (55+) IDVA
Our Older Persons IDVA supports people aged 55 and over who may be experiencing domestic abuse in complex or hidden circumstances. This can include abuse from partners, adult children, carers or family members. They work closely with safeguarding, health and social care services to provide support that reflects individual needs and circumstances.
